Hari's
'Andy took just the right amount off the length and my hair looks effortlessly healthy and bouncy'

Cut and Blow Dry at Hari’s

The blurb

Hari’s are something of a west London institution. With salons on Brompton Road, the King’s Road and another in Parsons Green, they’re known for their glamorous and swishy Chelsea blow-outs.

The Parsons Green branch opened a year ago and has fast become a favourite with locals, as well as a number of celebrities and designers. Known for its friendly atmosphere, it also offers Hari’s express services such as the Beehive and Bun Bar.

The process

Nothing beats a trusted hair stylist on your doorstep, and since the third Hari’s opened on the New King’s Road the yummy mummies and beatific babes of Parsons Green need look no further for their follicular fix. The salon was buzzing but despite the busy atmosphere I was greeted like an old friend.

I had my hair shampooed by graduate stylist Cameron, who gave me a wonderfully relaxing head massage before handing me over to salon owner Andy Sharma. Andy was in his element as he talked about the trend for fuss-free hairstyles, and how the sleek, simple Chelsea blow dry is here to stay. On this occasion, however, Andy decided a more whimsical look would suit my wavy hair. Having prepped it with a heat-protecting Shu Uemura mousse, he blow-dried it with a big nozzle to create plenty of volume and soft curls.

The result

Andy took just the right amount off the length and my hair looks effortlessly healthy and bouncy. Feeling rather gorgeous as I left and resolving to return soon, I understood why so many of the locals keep coming back.
