Richard Brownlie-Marshall

Individuals can only help the environment globally, when nature is given priority at a local level.

How to introduce Richard to you…? I know him as an attentive, creative and hardworking co-worker with an eye for style, trends and great on-screen presenting skills. He’s now creative guru for the salad company Tossed (with stores at Westfield and Paddington), which really does make healthy, homemade food fun and delicious. Prior to all this, he studied at Northumbria’s Design School where he created his series of Branch products which has picked up a lot of media coverage and been showcased in various exhibitions throughout the UK. What a busy bee.

His Branch designs are an environmental way to make urban communities appreciate nature, he tells me. ‘I loved the challenge of mixing nature with city life. Individuals can only help the environment globally, when nature is given priority at a local level.’ Richard Brownlie-Marshall: Creative career man, designer and eco-warrior.

Why buy now?

‘With spring here it’s the perfect time to start making the outdoors a better place to be,’ he says. This bird table (£50), part of the Branch range, is attachable to a wide range of surfaces such as railings, trees or even drainpipes, so everyone has a space for one. ‘I can also make customised designs, so if you have any special requirements or want to test my creativity, email me an idea and let’s see if I can make it happen.’
