Swedish company FOREO is launching its silicone toothbrush of the future, the ISSA, to be exclusively sold at Selfridges.
FOREO’s design marks a departure from the norm, utilising high-intensity pulsations channelled through soft silicone bristles to clean your mouth. Designed to be used like a manual brush, the ISSA does not oscillate like the abrasive bristles of electric toothbrushes, but pulsates, making it gentler and healthier for gums while still effectively cleaning teeth.
They are also launching a mini ISSA, aimed at children, which incorporates a smiley face that lights up when children brush for two minutes or longer or a sad face that appears if they stop too soon — a novel idea to encourage children to keep an eye on their oral hygiene.
