Patchwork upholstery artist Ginny grew up in Kuala Lumpur. The colourful culture, nature and wildlife of Malaysia is reflected in her vivid collection of diamond-shaped patchwork furniture, which is passionately upholstered, by hand, in her design studio. She also counts works by the world-renowned patchwork guru Kaffe Fassett as another source of inspiration. With over 20 years’ experience, she founded Ginny Avison Designs Ltd with her husband Andrew Avison last year.
