Ella Prakash solo exhibition, Alleviation, private view

Thursday 16 April saw the opening of Ella Prakash’s debut solo exhibition, Alleviation, in London. A Bahrain-based artist of Indian origin, the private view attracted some of the most powerful and influential people from within the Indian art and business world of London—Embassy dignitaries, Arts for India decision-makers and India Art Week heads, to name a few.

Cocktails were flying, and the artwork was breathtaking. The 18 works of art being exhibited at Debut Contemporary showcased the dynamism of feminine energy, in an exploration of woman’s sense of self and healing, uniquely knit into an abstract narrative by subtle yet powerful figures.

The show was only open for a limited time, until Monday 20 April, but will be reopening for India Art Week in June 2015.
