St Martins Lane hotel relaunch party at Blind Spot

St Martins Lane hotel hosted a private party to celebrate the redesign and relaunch of the hotel by unveiling its new cocktail lounge, Blind Spot, on Wed 6 May.

Celebrating 15 years since opening, London’s first boutique hotel, St Martins Lane, revealed a fresh new contemporary design and updated public spaces with a launch party at London’s hottest new late night cocktail lounge, Blind Spot. The new London lounge offers a unique drinking experience, centred around the exotic journey of tea. Set behind the façade of a boutique counter that during the day will serve a selection of teas, guests at night will find a hidden entrance to Blind Spot; a golden cocktail sanctuary designed like a modern hunting lodge and inspired by the colours and aromas of exotic tea leaves.

Cocktail consultant Andrew Loudon, who cut his teeth at the acclaimed 69 Colebrook Row, has devised a series of signature drinks that creatively blend refreshing market ingredients with themes inspired by the tea trade as well as film, poetry and perfume.

Jaime Winstone and Jamie Reynolds hit the decks, whilst fellow famous guests and socialites in attendance included: Mary Charteris, Robbie Furze, Billie Piper, Laurence Fox, Gizzie Erskine, George Lamb, Roxie Nafousi, Dominic Jones, Bompas & Parr, Sarah Jane Crawford, Laura Bettinson, Morwenna Lytton Cobold, Sascha Bailey, Tarka Russel, Jacobi Anstruther-Gough Calthorpe and Hofit Golan.
