Chucs celebrates the launch of Italian restaurant and menswear boutique

Last week saw classic Italian restaurant and stylish menswear fashion boutique, Chucs, celebrate the launch of their second site on Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill.

With the boutique’s arrival just in time for LFW, the party hosted a suitably fashionable west London set, including the familiar faces of Michael Fox, Kayvan Novak, Mary Charteris, Alistair Guy, Craig McGinlay, Otis Ferry, Alan Yentob, Bella Freud, and Malin Jeffries, all of whom were very excited to see the unveiling of the new Chucs menswear collection—inspired by the effortless elegance of a bygone era and the ’50s and ’60s Riviera.

Despite beginning filming for Top Gear for Amazon tomorrow, Jeremy Clarkson also managed to pop in and arrived with a mystery new brunette on his arm! Micheal Fox was also spotted, but unusually without his girlfriend and Downton co-star, Laura Carmichael.

Finally back from LA, Mary Charteris was there, making a—these days rare—London appearance between her busy schedule. Keen to sample the new restaurant, fellow restaurateurs Richard Caring and Jeremy King were also in attendance.

Located on Notting Hill’s Westbourne Grove, Chucs, a brand synonymous with classic Italian craftsmanship whether dining or dressing, opens this month, bringing a taste of the Italian Riviera to west London.
