B&Q’s garden became a catwalk for Gwyneth Paltrow (we couldn’t get through the paps quick enough to get a proper snap); Diarmuid Gavin spent far too much time with his head in the clouds – he could be seen in the impressive 730sqm hanging garden – and Will Young gave us his top gardening tip, ‘Pee on your compost’ – I don’t think we’ll be going round for a home-grown dinner at his any time soon. We’re chuffed that our fave nursery, Clifton Nurseries received a commendation for its first ever stand at the show and smiled when we overheard 69-year-old fashion designer Zandra Rhodes complaining that there wasn’t enough Champagne.
