The Process
Salon owner and artistic director Becky Hill was doing my colour. Becky has won multiple awards and worked alongside hair designer Brendan O’Sullivan and the KMS team for London Fashion Week this year, and is a Goldwell colour educator! I was in good hands.
She began by discussing the colour I was after – a warm light blonde, as you ask – then carefully separated my hair into sections to run super fine highlights through and fold into foils. She used the lowest strength peroxide to lift my roots and filled the colour solution with hair-saving Olaplex. The damage was zero to none and the colour lifted perfectly.
Skilfully working all around my extensions, Becky got every last strand and colour matched my roots to lengths exactly with a creamy blonde toner.
The salon is out of my usual stomping ground – Ruislip – but it’s not actually far on the central line, and for colour this good at a reasonable price, I’ll definitely be going back!
The Results
My hair looks fantastic. This is one of the best colours I’ve had in ages, and despite my hair being incredibly dry and fragile, there was absolutely minimal damage to its condition!
