Hair Repair Treatment at Electric

The Blurb:

In a well hidden street just a few minutes’ stroll from busy Oxford Street hides Electric Hairdressing’s flagship salon. The friendly team have earned themselves a strong celebrity following and their creations regularly grace the covers of the UK’s glossies. Their Electric Hair Rescue Therapy Masque promised to smooth hair and lock in moisture… Something my sun-stressed locks was in serious need of.

The Process:

On arrival I was greeted with a glass of chilled white wine and whisked downstairs (past the MTV film crew) in to The Retreat, a private consultation and treatment room, where salon owner Charlie analysed my hair and face shape. It seemed that my recent foreign flings had taken their toll on my dry and damaged hair; there was only one thing for it – The Electric Hair Rescue Therapy Masque.

First my hair was washed, before I enjoyed the most thorough head massage I have ever experienced in a salon. You know how annoying it can be when you lie back and have an uninterested workie mindlessly yank at your hair? Well not here. Even once out of the basin and sat in my cutting chair, Charlie continued to massage my tresses, shoulders, arms and hands until my frantic day was a distant memory and I was soon embracing the magazines, massage (and vino!). The nourishing masque was then slathered from root to tip and my hair was wrapped in a moist, warm towel to aid absorption.

The unique formulation of coconut, olive and wheatgerm oils are combined with vegetable proteins and moisturising lipids, which deeply penetrate the hair shaft, strengthening and smoothing the hair cuticles and locking in moisture.

The Result:

Having taken on board my lust for big hair, Charlie expertly dried and styled my hair with Electric’s Styling Cream. I can honestly say the team have created a fantastic range of products and this was no exception. Smoothing the hair perfectly, this miracle cream leaves no residue at all and as for the infamous masque; it was a dream. As I left the salon and skipped off towards Marylebone I couldn’t stop running my hands through my luscious locks. My manic afro-esque barnet had been transformed in to silky soft tresses. The perfect treatment for those in need of a little TLC and taming.

Cut from £41 and masque treatment is £18.
