GlossyBox: Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours

Who doesn’t like a surprise gift? We love the concept behind GlossyBox – for £12.95 per month, you receive a cool mix of on-trend miniature beauty samples (pretty good value for money, we think). It’s the perfect way to discover new products and try them out in the comfort of your home.

My GlossyBox contained a perfume sample of Plum by make-up artist Mary Greenwell (check out our interview with her), two packets of Dead Sea Spa Salt Brushing (I’m a fan of the brand since a trip to its source in Jordan), samples of all-natural Kimia Exquisite Face Oil and Kimia Hydra-Activater (all their products are made naturally in the UK) and two brands which were new to me (plus points); HD Brows and Neäl & Wolf.

HD Brows’ very useful Eye Brow Pallette for blonds (c’est moi) included a nude, a carbon shadow and two blonde tone powers to create a multi-tone look and is a perfect choice of colours for eye shadows as well as eye brows. I also particularly liked the generous-sized bottle (200ml) of Intensive Care Treatment (for all hair types) conditioner from professional haircare brand Neäl & Wolf.

Along with the monthly box, GlossyBox also has an online magazine which offers useful tips on how to apply the products and get the most out of them. The GlossyBook online magazine features video tutorials which show you how to get the look of classic and on-trend make-up and nail looks.
