My appointment began with an in-depth consultation with Kayleigh, Senior Top Stylist & Colour Specialist who actually has Fabriq Reset treatment in her own hair. She took the time to analyse my hair’s texture before explaining how the treatment would be tailored to my needs. It was reassuring to know that this was not a one-size-fits-all approach; the treatment would be completely personalised to ensure the best results.
First, my hair was washed with a specialised cleansing shampoo to remove any product build-up and open the cuticle. Unlike standard shampoos, this one was designed to deeply cleanse without stripping moisture, setting the foundation for the treatment to be absorbed effectively. Once my hair was towel-dried, my stylist began applying the Reset formula section by section. The texture of the product felt lightweight—neither too heavy nor greasy—allowing for even application without weighing the hair down. There was also no odour.
After allowing the treatment to process, the excess was washed off and Kayleigh moved on to the smoothing phase. My hair was roughly blow-dried, and I could already see a difference—it looked shinier and less frizzy. The final step involved sealing in the treatment using a straightener. Kayleigh was a true pro—so meticulous and dedicated. You could tell she really cared about my hair and obtaining the best results The number of passes and the temperature were carefully controlled to ensure effectiveness without causing any heat damage. To ensure the longevity of the treatment, Kayleigh provided me with Fabriq’s Shampoo and Conditioner, which actually tops up the treatment, and I was advised to rinse my hair with cool water for 5 minutes before my first post-treatment wash (to help set the treatment for even longer-lasting results). I was also instructed to avoid products with sulphates, and use only the shampoo and conditioner provided.
The Results
Even before the final pass of the straightener, I could see the transformation. My hair, which had previously felt dry and unruly, now looked and felt silky smooth with a mirror-like sheen. It had an incredible shine, felt significantly stronger, and (most importantly) was completely frizz-free. Over the next few days, I noticed how much easier it was to manage my hair: Styling took less time, and I didn’t have to rely on heat tools as much.
