The Process
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the clinic’s friendly receptionist Fiona and promptly escorted to a sleek, modern treatment room on the top floor. My practitioner, a nurse injector called Becky, began by explaining the procedure, addressing any questions or concerns I may have had. She assessed my facial structure, taking note of my desired outcomes. Becky used a canula, something which usually scares me – there’s something about it being less easy to remove than a straightforward needle and syringe in hand – but she said it was safer, and in the end I barely felt it.
The treatment was remarkably swift and relatively painless, despite not using a topical anaesthetic cream.
The Results
With minimal downtime and no real bruising, I was able to resume my daily activities immediately
We only added a tiny amount – 0.5ml in each cheek – but this created a subtle enhancement to my overall face. The results were super natural-looking and understated.
As someone who has road-tested most aesthetic treatments over the years, I can confidently attest that cheek filler remains my favourite. It’s a great way to invisibly lift and youthify the face, in a way that leaves people certain you look better, but unsure what’s actually changed.
And whilst I’d suggest a little more if you want to see a noticeable difference, those on a budget could do worse than 0.5ml in either cheek!
