Orangetheory Fitness London has revealed the first wave of new studio locations that are set to open in 2020. The first new studio, located in Fulham Broadway (Vanston Place) will join the current London based Orangetheory Fitness studios in Wandsworth, Bromley and Islington.
The Fulham Broadway studio is set to open early this year with a pre-sale event taking place at Vagabond, Fulham – 18-22 Vanston Pl, Fulham, London SW6 1AX from 24th-26th January. The event will give potential members the chance to meet the coaches, learn more about OTF and lock in a special pre-sale membership offer. To book a slot for the weekend click here. More locations for 2020 will bring OTF to the City. Due to launch in the first half of the year, these key locations will make it easier for members to enjoy the OTF Community at home and at work.
Additionally, to inspire and prompt members’ fitness goals at the start of the year, OTF is running their ‘Transformation Challenge’ from 20th January, giving the OTF Community and coaches the chance to encourage members to make fitness a priority with achievable goals. The 8-week challenge focuses on a lifestyle shift to help promote the benefits that regular exercise has on individuals inside and out.
OTF combines rowers, treadmills and floor-weight exercises, for a 60-minute workout that is designed to push members to reach their goals, by using state-of-the-art heart rate monitors to track output in real-time. During classes attendee’s heartrates are colour coded in five zones from grey to red. The goal is to spend at least 12 minutes in the Orange (84-91%) or Red (92-100%) Zones; doing so maximises excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) and leaves you burning calories for up to 36 hours post-session. Personal stats are recorded and posted on a screen at the front of the class, encouraging individuals to maximise their efforts and reach the Orange Zone.
