A New Chapter Begins at The Lillie Langtry

The wait is finally over as cherished West London pub, The Lillie Langtry, reopens its doors this week just in time for the festive season.

Boasting a chic new look, the pub on Lillie Road is bringing some glitz n’ glamour to West Brompton with plush velvet chairs and sofas, gorgeous new rich, neutral tones, dark wood panelling floors and show stopping chandeliers.

Food is at the forefront, with a brand-new menu of bold British dishes and a festive menu that rivals any West London pub restaurant.

Christmas Day

Take the hassle out of cooking this holiday season and head in on Christmas Day for a three-course feast, priced at £75 per person. There’s starters of crispy pork belly with pineapple, mustard sabayon, and pickled onion; and roasted sweet potato velouté with truffle oil, sourdough, and toasted pecan nuts.

Showstopping mains include Holly Farm bronze turkey with pork and apricot stuffing and all the trimmings; Aubrey Allen dry-aged beef with triple cooked chips; and roasted spiced squash wellington with truffle oil, roasted squash, squash purée and crispy sage.

Top it all off with walnut & brandy Christmas pudding with brandy sauce; winter berry and almond amaretto trifle; and winter cheese with quince, sea salt crackers and truffle honey.

Boxing Day

If you’re looking for a little pick-me-up on boxing day after all the festive frolics, then settle in for the Boxing Day menu. How do you like your eggs in the morning? Well, you’ve got Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale or Eggs Fungi to choose from. If you’re after something bigger then tuck into The Full Story – poached CackleBean eggs, Butler’s sausage, streaky bacon, confit tomato, portobello mushroom, baked beans, Clonakilty black pudding and Bovril butter on toasted sourdough, and vegans have no chance of missing out either with the plant-based version.
