Scandinavian kids’ store, Kidsen scooped The Telegraph’s Best Independent Children’s Shop Award. The awards ceremony was hosted by retail expert and Telegraph Magazine columnist Mary Portas, who said all the Telegraph annual shop award winners had a ‘sense of belonging’ and of ‘being part of a community’ and were the ‘cream of the crop’. The Kensal Rise store was founded three years ago by Swedish-born Corina Papadopoulou (pictured with Mary Portas) and her husband Franco Ofili.
