This year’s London Fashion Week saw designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen return to the location of her first ever McQueen show twenty years ago, The Royal Horticultural Halls.
The 2016 Autumn/Winter collection drew you into a world of nighttime creatures drifting between dreams and reality. An assortment of soft, feminine lace and sheer nudes dominated by masculine leather collars and decorative chains. Gowns, jackets and headpieces were scattered with twinkling stars, moons and flutterings of butterflies.
