STK London gets the party started with new seasonal menu

Summer is officially over, the nights are drawing in and party season is just around the corner, so it’s time to dust off those dancing shoes and head to STK London for its new sassy seasonal menu, packed full of sensational showstopping dishes.

The new menu offers an array of seasonal gamey dishes full of fantastic ingredients and quirky pairings, which are sure to leave friends and family more than just ‘pheasant’-ly surprised. Forest of Dean wild boar cutlets and sausage served with roasted apple and parsnip, as well as the tender Scottish juniper smoked venison, served with red currant, sourdough bread and chestnut mustard, bring delicious fruity flavours to the menu.

I had a wonderful tuna ceviche, followed by the pretty decent wild boar done three ways, while Mr Man had a fantastically juicy ribeye steak with bernaise. The restaurant is buzzy and full to bursting with birthday parties, business dinners and couples on romantic nights out. There’s also the fantastic Radio Rooftop bar on the top floor with great cocktails, a great DJ and panoramic views of London.

Other highlights of the extensive and vibrant menu include meaty short ribs with ashes of onions, tasty tempura scallops with cauliflower served with American sturgeon caviar, as well as the succulent roasted monkfish tail with cannellini beans, mini chorizo and sea herbs. The classic fish and chip dish has had a makeover too, as mouth-watering North Sea cod is served with beer-battered pearls, butternut squash on tartare emulsion, showcasing Vincent Menager creative flair on an iconic British staple.

Dessert fans will be winning all winter long with the warming chocolate bourbon fudge dessert, served with walnut crumble, caramel and vanilla ice cream, as well as the New York cheese cake with rhubarb compote. Fancy something a little more festive in the run up to Christmas? Then the salted caramel crème brulee with a gingerbread biscuit and the apple and maple cake served with calvados cream, cinnamon ice cream and maple liquor are divine.

STK London is the ultimate dining experience that brings fun, flavour and frivolity within the heart of the capital. Guests are sure to enjoy a high-energy atmosphere, top-notch service, award winning USDA prime steaks and even a night of dancing thanks to the venue’s nightly in-house DJ.
