We are all only too aware that our mood, weight and an efficient sales assistant are all we need to be in perfect alignment when jean shopping. So, when I was asked to review San Francisco business consultant, Wendy Montgomery‘s newish business, The Raw Denim Bar with its recently launched Denim Concierge Service, I was curious to discover just how this home delivery jean shopping service works.

Utterly thrilled with the thoughtfully selected items to suit my style, shape and size, I immediately ran upstairs to try them on. Three of the five fitted well but were rejected based on colour preference. But having been on the lookout for a pair of leather-waxy-feel jeans, I was delighted with the ultra comfortable, super slimming DL1961 (EMMA IN WICK) and was even more thrilled to see that they had a mark-down sale price of £99 (original price £168). Trying them on with boots, heels and evening tops in the comfort of my own bedroom, I needed no further convincing. I packaged the rest of the jeans away to avoid further temptation before my returns were picked up.
