This summer, renowned cocktail bar Oriole will launch their ‘Hot Club’ – a programme of live jazz events on Thursday evenings. Combining the energetic percussion and fast-fingered guitars of jazz manouche with the team’s signature cold serves, the Hot Club promises invigorating summer evenings from the comfort of Oriole’s cool basement restaurant and bar.
Pioneered in the 1930s by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli of the Quintette du Hot Club du France, jazz manouche is known for its upbeat tempo and swing style rhythms. From 17th July until the end of August, Oriole will play host to live performances from 8pm every Thursday evening. Guests can enjoy the music over dinner from Oriole’s menu, celebrating the fusion cuisines of Latin America, or simply with a round of refreshing cocktails.
