W1mbledon in Hanover Square; until July 12th: FREE
For the first time, SW19 comes to W1 in celebration of the world’s greatest tennis tournament. Free to the public, New West End Company’s ‘W1mbledon in Hanover Square’ event will be screening the full Wimbledon tennis tournament in Mayfair’s iconic Hanover Square.
Guests are invited to spend time on branded beanbags, deckchairs and picnic tables in the beautiful environs of the square while watching the biggest games of the tournament on a large outdoor screen. Tennis-inspired games like swing ball and table tennis are available for those feeling inspired by the athletes.
Premium food and drinks options include Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London, serving strawberries and cream and soft-serve ice cream with flavours including vanilla cheesecake and tiramisu, and Market Halls, operating a full bar with delights such as frozen Whispering Angel slushies, classic summer Pimms cocktails, and non-alcoholic Lucky Saint.
