2022 Monaco spring events
Rolex Monte Carlo Masters
Taking place from the 9th to the 17th of April, there are very few events in Monaco that match The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters. This prestigious event has a long tradition of great champions, led by Spain’s Rafael Nadal, who has won 11 titles at the event, including an Open Era record eight straight between 2005-2012.

Monte Carlo Fashion Week
The Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (MCFW) is the official fashion event of the Principality of Monaco. Organised under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco, this event gains prestige year after year, adhering to the international fashion calendar. Buyers, international media and fashion insiders worldwide eagerly look forward to attending, thanks to the participation of leaders in the field and celebrities who frequent the attractive Principality.
Last year, the show’s 9th edition featured resort, cruise and capsule collections for Spring Summer 2022. One of the fashion week highlights is the highly anticipated MCFW Fashion Awards Ceremony, which celebrates international and local talents, the best of the global fashion community.

Monaco Grand Prix
Among all the prestigious events held in Monaco in 2022, the Monaco Grand Prix probably needs the least introduction. This national sporting event is held every year in Monaco, and the Monaco Grand Prix 2022 will take place this spring from the 27th to the 29th of May. It is a competition of international importance, drawing the likes of royalty, sporting legends and celebrities.
The Monaco F1 Grand Prix is one of the most iconic races on the F1 calendar. This historic race takes place through the tight, winding streets of the principality, passing some of Monaco’s most exclusive districts, including Monte-Carlo and La Condamine.
The entire city comes alive on race weekend. Rather than taking place on the traditional Friday – Sunday format, practice starts on Thursday. That frees up Friday for some extra-curricular activities, including the free-flowing bars and Michelin star restaurants. Many fans take in the race from aboard a megayacht, VIP terraces, or purpose-built grandstands.
Concerts At The Prince’s Palace
For those who love to experience the royal touch, the outdoor concerts just outside the Prince’s Palace cannot be missed.
Every year during the Monegasque summer months, the enchanting sound of music of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra filters through the Prince’s Palace. This Monaco event is made even more impressive through the delicate location of the palace courtyard and the grandeur of the palace in the background. This year’s concerts will take place between the 7th of July and the 7th of August, making it the perfect time and place to spend an evening outside under the fresh, French Riviera summer skies.
Mareterra Monaco
An exciting ‘event’ along Monaco’s waterfront is the gradual unfolding of Monaco’s new eco-district, Mareterra Monaco. Considered Europe’s most ambitious land reclamation project, there is always a hive of activity taking place, with the development team hitting regular milestones. Once complete in 2025, Mareterra Monaco will include super prime residential apartments, penthouses, townhouses and exceptionally rare waterfront villas, alongside lush gardens, a new marina, and a seaside promenade connecting the district to the newly developed Larvotto Beach.
