Hyper kids and tipsy parents: It’s a party in a toy shop

A rock ‘n’ roll magician, bar staff (who are songwriters by day) serving champagne and a talented face painter ensured toy emporium RS Currie & Co’s first birthday went with a bang. Kids, mums, dads and local creatives alike gorged on sweet treats. At one point a child glued himself to my leg (I think he thought I was his mum).
