Peter Jones celebrated its recent £7m makeover with a lavish party. We were greeted by carols from The Kensington Prep School choir before moving up to the top floor restaurant for drinks and pop-up productions from Royal Court Theatre. The party also marked the unveiling of new ‘Sloane Ranger’ menswear pieces, specially designed by established British brands such as Grenson, Peregrine and Barbour.
Plus, there was a charity auction to raise money for The Sick Children’s Trust – lots included a signed artwork by Pierce Brosnan, a lamp from Megan Fox, and David Cameron’s fountain pen (the most popular celebrity donation). We not only walked away with generous goody bags, but I also won a Toshiba laptop in the raffle!
