I cherish the Summer months and sandal wearing weather, however it takes a real toll on my feet. My soft feet turn into hard and broken (nail varnish painted) slabs. And however many “luxury spa pedicures” I have – they soon return to their ugly state.
Margaret Dabbs is passionate about feet. She is a podiatrist and foot expert who has grown her brand in the UK, Dubai and Doha by being the very best at what she does. I personally was not familiar with the brand but after researching how to fix my biggest problem this Summer, I was in no doubt that Margaret Dabbs was the way to go.
I was booked in for a Medical Pedicure at their clinic in Westbourne Grove, situated within Space NK. I was brought through to meet my podiatrist, Thomas, who took me through to the treatment room –a large massage chair on a platform to sit you up high and a table full of medical equipment which unnerved me slightly to begin with. However Thomas eased my worries and talked me through the process, as well as offering advice and further recommendations to maintain the standard post-procedure.
He started off by treating my nails and making sure they were neat and tidy, going onto filing them down and removing the rough skin on my feet. After the medical pedicure was over, my feet looked brand new and I was dreading putting my sandals back on to go and brace the London streets. Thomas recommended further treatments and homeopath medicines to ensure my feet were at their best.
As mentioned earlier, luxury spa pedicures do a very good job for approximately one day. The difference between them and Margaret Dabbs is that your feet remain in amazing quality for a lot longer.
With the Summer months coming to an end, and my feet getting ready to hibernate for Winter I will be making sure I bring my feet back to life by visiting again!
