Hari’s True Volume Treatment

The Blurb:

Reading through Hari’s hair menu can make a girl hungry; caviar shine treatments and protein-enhancing avocado hair masks sit beside an eye-wateringly large selection of extensions, colouring services, blow-dries and even facials. So it’s lucky that this one-stop beauty shop also has an in-house kitchen serving up sandwiches and smoothies.

Yes, this Brompton Road institution offers everything a girl could need, and their new True Volume Treatment is going down a storm. Promising to regenerate tired and colour-treated hair and leave you with voluptuous, luxuriant locks. The miracle products used for this treatment come from German volume expert, Shan Rahimkhan.

The Process:

After your hair is gently shampooed twice and your head has been beautifully massaged, the infamous mask is applied to your hair, avoiding the root. Your hair is then wrapped in a plastic covering and you relax under the bubbling steamer which, as well as drowning out the noise of the frantic rush-hour salon, encourages the hair to fully absorb the mask. After 20 minutes the mask is rinsed off and oil packed with goodies is sprayed on. As this is applied the hair is twisted at the bottom to stop the oils running off the hair. This is followed by a full volumising blow-dry.

The Result:

Within an hour I was transformed in to one of Hari’s girls, ready to join the stream of lunching ladies strutting out of the door with my immaculate do. But this was not just a five-minute fix; my hair remained fuller wash after wash for at least a week. This is a volume treatment that really lasts.

One hour in-salon True Volume Treatment £45.
