Deep Cleanse Intense Treatment Facial at !QMS Medicosmetics

The Blurb:

!QMS Medicosmetics was the brain child of Dr.Med. Erich Schlute, an aesthetic surgeon and internationally-renowned authority on skin regeneration. The collagen-based product range was born out of Schule’s research into creating the perfect cream to prep skin for surgery and help it heal afterwards.

Today, his skincare spa and products make the bold claim of ‘reversing the appearance of ageing’. Well, what west London lady could resist testing that?

I was booked in for their ‘Deep Cleanse Intense Treatment’, which aims to un-clog pores and leave the skin firmed and hydrated. I also opted for the ‘Oxygen Concentrator’ add-on – this genius machine takes air and compresses, cools and cleans it until it is 98 per cent pure oxygen and ready to work its magic on tired London complexions, brightening skin and allowing active ingredients to penetrate deeper.

The Process:

Having been greeted by a painfully pretty therapist, displaying airbrushed skin, without a scrap of make-up, I was lead through the space age spa – all gleaming white surfaces, minimalist decor and not a smear in sight – to my pristine treatment room; Heavenly.

Having made me feel totally at home in the ultra-modern suite and cleansed my skin of all make up, Emelie set to work, analysing every inch of my face to diagnose the perfect bespoke treatment for me.

With London life taking over my face pore by pore it was all about cleaning, cleansing and de-clogging. After a gentle exfoliating massage my face was steamed and it was time for the extraction. I can safely say I have never had such a thorough extraction in all my life as a spa reviewer. Despite the inner satisfaction, I couldn’t help but panic, I had drinks at The Botanist straight after and surely I would look like a spotty pre-pubescent teen at this rate?

Fear not, the application of a thick, cooling peel-off algae mask soothed my skin in no time and the oxygen treatment left me literally glowing.

A final hydro foam mask and application of lightweight moisturiser completed the treatment and left me ready to face London once more.

The Result:

It’s lucky this spa is just a stone’s throw from The Botanist or I would never have made it on time – I couldn’t stop staring at my reflection in every passing window. Not a red mark in sight, just soft, polished and radiant skin.

This is the ultimate facial for west London ladies that need a refresh for summer – say hello to that summer glow.

£90 for one hour.
