Dr. Benito has over ten years of experience as a Facial Aesthetics Specialist and has a very strong academic background including an internship in the Aesthetic Postgraduate Program at New York University, which has given her a strong skill set that should enable her to meet all expectations.
Dermal filler treatments work by using an injectable gel made of hyaluronic acid, designed to smooth lines and wrinkles, give volume to the face and also improve skin quality. The high levels of HA (hyaluronic acid) have the effect of attracting and retaining water, instantly improving the skin’s appearance and texture by restoring its natural plumpness.
The Process
Dr Pam had previously given me the best lip fillers I’d ever had, so I was super psyched to come back to her for cheeks.
Her clinic is at the top of a beautiful, light-filled house on the impossibly charming Elizabeth Street, surrounded by the chic boutiques and street cafes of Belgravia. The treatment room feels more World of Interiors than medi-clinic. Whilst spotlessly clean, the warm, tasteful colour scheme steers it safely clear of sterile.
I’m a needle-phobe, and dread cheek filler, finding the process pretty gruelling, even if the results are worth it. But with Dr Pam, the experience is genuinely closer to a facial! I’ve never come across anyone so unfathomably gentle with a needle; I didn’t see it once, and honestly barely felt it.
There’s a huge variation in how pleasant fillers are, depending on who’s administering them. Dr Pam is an absolute outlier – calm, serene, and reassuringly beautiful herself. The whole experience is closer to a spa treatment than the fractious, painful ordeal that fillers can be – and I’ve tried a few…
The Results
Spectacular. Dr Pam transformed my face in 20 minutes flat. I had visible asymmetry where previous cheek filler had worn off on the side that I sleep on. Pam spotted this immediately and corrected it in minutes. She never makes you feel rushed, and has an almost intuitive understanding of what you want and what will look best.
Having corrected the asymmetry, we studied my face carefully in the mirror and I decided I’d like even more width added to both cheekbones, this creates a youthful lifting effect, but Dr Pam will never do anything that looks artificial, or too much.
I LOVE the results and can’t recommend Dr Pam highly enough, she’s heads and shoulders above any other doctor I’ve had work with, and the only aesthetic doctor I’ve personally recommended to my friends.
