The Jam Tree gets groggy with a summer rum festival!

This summer let The Jam Tree in Clapham and Chelsea transport you to the sunshine of the Caribbean and the laid-back verve of Latin America with a brand new festival celebrating the perfect sunshine tipple: rum!

From cocktail-friendly white rums to beguiling spiced varieties, the month-long festivities will be a summery celebration of the versatility of this spirit in an array of tempting events. Salsa nights, rum tastings and hog roasts will culminate in a spectacular Caribbean Supperclub on Wed 26 July.

Rum will infuse everything, from the barbecue and cocktails to the décor and music, with a feel-good soundtrack of Reggae, Ska, Salsa and Soukous on the menu.

On ‘Mojito Mondays’ Classic, Jammy and Royale Mojitos will be complimentary with every meal, while tastings and classes from the likes of Mount Gay, Sailor Jerry and Cargo Cult will offer novices and rum buffs alike a fun and educational route into tasting rum, as well as teaching guests to whip up innovative cocktails.

The new barbecue menu also gets a spirited (!) twist from Head Chef Dominic Taylor, featuring dishes such as Mojito-glazed ribs with celery, apple and walnut salad, Jerk chicken chopped salad with pineapple and coconut dressing, and other rum-flavoured surprises, which will be showcased at the month’s supperclub finale—and polished off with bottomless Mount Gay Rum Punch, of course.

Go on holiday in the heart of the city and visit The Jam Tree this summer for a scrumptious time!
