The Diner Opens New Branch in Gloucester Road

Southern-inspired American dining comes to west London as a new branch of The Diner opens on Gloucester Road.

The first of its restaurants was opened by Marc Francis-Baum, Andreas Akerlund and Patric Franzen in 2005. The Diner offers an all-American menu and deliciously indulgent milkshakes in a fun and quirky ’50s style environment with leather seats, cosy booths and patriotic American art. They offer all the current favourites including burgers, all-day American breakfasts and pancakes.

The Gloucester Road restaurant is also offering a host of new dishes, including the Southern-inspired ‘Biscuits and Gravy’ – a popular US breakfast dish of savoury scones covered in creamy sausage gravy.

If you’re looking for something more substantial, they offer the classic western Juicy Lucy pork sandwiches and Philly Cheese Steaks and if you fancy a treat the desserts are suitably indulgent – the apple and cinnamon Chimichangas and the infamous banana splits are deliciously sweet and highly reccomended.
