Russell Norman, of London restaurateur fame, is exploring west for his first neighbourhood outpost, Polpo Notting Hill. Twice the size of any other Polpo predecessor, the new site also has a large bar and a license to serve drinks without food, a first for the growing Polpo family, which Norman hopes will give it a ‘more relaxed all-day vibe’, like continental European restaurants.
Open Monday to Saturday from midday to 11.30pm and Sunday from midday to 10.30pm, if it’s anything like its siblings Polpo seems sure to quickly become a firm local favourite. Lunch bookings are advisable, dinner needs no reservation.
