Nessa, the modern British restaurant in the heart of Soho, introduces a new Express Lunch Menu, available Monday to Friday. The menu brings together bold flavours, seasonal produce, and a sense of comfort, now with the added ease of a midday express lunch offering. Whether you have a full afternoon ahead or time to savour every bite, the Express Lunch is designed to suit your day, quick enough to keep the day moving, but never rushed. Guests can enjoy two courses for £28 or opt for three courses at £35, with menus that reflect a playful mix of British cooking and global influences.
Starters include a beetroot and fig salad with sheep’s cheese and a hot honey dressing or a pumpkin & spelt risotto with spiced pumpkin seeds and Montgomery Cheddar. Mains feature a roast rump of West Country Lamb with parsnip relish and black garlic gravy and Wild Mushroom Ravioli with toasted hazelnuts. Desserts include a nostalgic Sticky Toffee Pudding with salted caramel custard or chocolate or vanilla Ice Cream.. For those looking to build out their lunch, a selection of sides is available, including charred broccoli with smoked yoghurt, beef dripping roasties and fennel & citrus salad.
Set at the intersection of Brewer and Warwick Streets, Nessa is an inviting all-day spot inspired by the creative energy of Vanessa Bell. Located on the ground floor of the 1910 neo-baroque building that houses 1 Warwick, the interiors are designed by Fettle and blend classic architecture with warm textures, vintage details, and contemporary ease.
The Express Lunch menu is perfect for a quick break in Soho or for those looking to impress with the perfect balance of pace, flavour, and atmosphere. The Express Lunch Menu is available to book now and with walk-ins.

West London Living popped in a couple of weeks ago and were blown away by the celeriac carbonara with pancetta and confit egg, with the Cornish hake and rump of lamb following up close behind. After two courses I had no room for pudding, but my compatriot had sticky toffee pudding, which was thoroughly enjoyed.
On top of the food, Nessa’s real USP is its decor and vibe – inspired by the Bloomsbury Group, and thoroughly British in the best, most bohemian sense, the look epitomises the radical spirit of Vanessa Bell and her contemporaries. With considered lighting, palms, leather banquettes, marble tabletops and ikat lampshades, it captures old school British bohemia by way of a Parisian brasserie.
Just as the Bloomsbury salons were places where ideas flowed as freely as the wine, Nessa reimagines that spirit for a modern audience in the heart of central London. Located on a vibrant corner of Soho, Nessa Restaurant is a British bar and dining destination, championing seasonality with a produce-led menu that celebrates British ingredients with a dash of imagination.
