A feast for all the senses… The Lost Estate brings you theatre, food and music in the form of a classic murder mystery.
Famed for their hugely successful experiential dinners, The Lost Estate are back and this time… they’re whisking you off (metaphorically speaking) to 221B Baker Street to unite you with a rather famous crime-solving duo.
“Supernatural dread and tabloid horror are tearing the city apart. Amid the chaos, Holmes and Watson act: A press conference tonight at 221B; attendance essential; truth will out”
Enter a many-layered immersive world. Journey from crime-soaked London to desolate Devonshire. Combining the mediums of theatre, music and fine dining, The Lost Estate bring you Holmes’ greatest case – The Hound Of The Baskervilles.
The year is 1889. London is beset by rumours of a demon hound terrorising the streets of the capital. In an urgent press conference at 221B Baker Street, called by none other than Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, the secrets of Baskerville Hall are revealed, expertly catered by Mrs. Hudson and washed down with the fruits of her well-stocked drinks cabinet.
Rumour, dread and violent disorder have brought the city to its knees. As London tears itself apart, goaded by Fleet Street’s lurid tales of a phantom hound, John Watson and Sherlock Holmes must make their move: an urgent press conference, your attendance essential. A night of depravity, murder and fine gastronomy has begun.
To eat…
Diners will delight at the menu lovingly prepared by chef, Mr Ashley Clarke, Esq. (Formerly of SmokeStak, Gordon Ramsay Group, Temper Soho). The themed menu features hits such as Gressingham Duck, Truffled Chicken and for the vegetarians, Mancini’s Arancini. There’s a ‘Strawberries and Champagne’ dessert that’s a sure-fire hit, served with black sesame and oat crumble and a Champagne sorbet. Full menus and details of how to consult about dietary requirements can be found here.
To drink…
The cocktail list is equally enticing and suitably on theme. Spice lovers will enjoy The ‘Bengal Swizzle’, picante with chilli but softened by silky smooth créme de banane. Those after something a little quirky might opt for the ‘Breakfast Punch’ that features apricot preserve, English Breakfast Tea and a house blend rum.
