To celebrate Chelsea Flower Show, Lancaster London has launched a floral-inspired afternoon tea, including pretty lavender and peach tarts, passion fruit and raspberry lollipops, and strawberry and white chocolate opera cakes. Delicately fragrant summer herbs have also been used to infuse the rosemary scones and thyme cupcakes. Available from Tuesday 19 May until Saturday 23 May.
In June, afternoon tea at Lancaster London gets beefed up for Father’s Day. Expect mini beef burgers, leek and stilton tarts, and honey roast ham with English mustard sandwiches, though we’ll still get our afternoon tea faves such as plain and raisin scones served warm, with homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream, and a selection of cakes and pastries and, of course, plenty of tea.
