Hush Mayfair presents ‘Hacienda’ with Rooster Rojo tequila

The NEW summer ‘Hacienda’ courtyard in the heart of Mayfair’s Hush restaurant is set within the secluded Lancashire Court space which has been transported into a Mexican Paraiso. Heralding the start of summer, the courtyard features an array of brilliantly decorated fans with a picture-worthy entrance archway that leads into an abundant canopy of bougainvillea. The edges of the canopy are festooned with vibrantly coloured pompom garlands whilst guests are surrounded by lush green ferns, bright bursts of blooms, and more cactus plants than you can shake your sombrero at.

We sampled the incredible lobster, one of the best I’ve ever had, and my boyfriend’s new favourite, their pea and mint soup with feta. We also tried a very spicy steak tartare, and some creamy mushroom and parma ham croquettes – both were great. The place was covered with big white sombreros, and felt calm, airy and bright. It was my boyfriend’s birthday so he was also thrilled they had a big screen in the courtyard quietly screening the Mexico – Brazil game. Sorry Mexico!

A brand-new cocktail menu created by in-house mixologist William Solorzano welcomes four bespoke cocktails made using Rooster Rojo; an award-winning tequila straight from the home of tequila itself, and brand new to the UK. Alongside the new cocktail menu Hush introduces four new dishes to their summer menu that have been created to further complement the offering.
