Cointreau and Chelsea’s No.Fifty Cheyne Launches Autumn Margarita Terrace

Marking the end of a long depressing summer, and celebrating everyone’s favourite cocktail – The Margarita, Cointreau has teamed up with Chelsea neighbourhood restaurant No. Fifty Cheyne to launch a new alfresco autumn terrace, offering a special five strong menu of Cointreau Margaritas.

Guests are invited to visit the terrace at the stunning recently reopened Chelsea establishment No. Fifty Cheyne, to sip on everyone’s new favourite (lockdown) household cocktail, the Cointreau Margarita. With the restaurant’s beautifully designed seasonal interiors boasting two floors, a cocktail bar and ‘drawing room’, the outdoor terrace offers the perfect addition. With an elegant patio seating area featuring tropical blues and oranges to capture the essence of both Cointreau and Fifty Cheyne, here, guests can enjoy margaritas throughout the day and into the early evening with a quintessential view overlooking the River Thames, on London’s idyllic Chelsea streets.

Featuring a selection of new margarita twists the bespoke terrace margarita menu is certain to revive spirits. Starting with none other than The Original Cointreau Margarita, classically made with Cointreau, Tequila, lime juice and garnished with salt and a lime wedge, followed by; a Spicy Cucumber Margarita, Pina Margarita, Pink Margarita, a Cheyne Basil Margarita and house special, the End Of Summer Berry Margarita. As the drink’s creator Margaret “Margarita” Sames famously said of her instantly iconic concoction, “a Margarita without Cointreau is not worth its salt”, it is only fitting that Cointreau honours the vital role it played in making cocktail history, and what better way to celebrate than with it’s very own Margarita Terrace.

West London Living popped along to sample, and can vouch for both the cocktails and the stunningly refurbished interiors.. We recommend either supper with the fam in their botanical, atmospherically-lit dining room, or, the basil margarita on their terrace (or inside, weather permitting!).
