Fashion e-tailer My Wardrobe is opening its first physical store this summer, in Bayswater’s Whiteley’s shopping centre. Opening on 30 June, the 1200-square-foot space will house an edited collection of items from their site rather than a full stockroom, so it’s a case of trying on styles for same or next-day delivery rather than walking away with them immediately.
Alongside two six-week pop-ups My Wardrobe is also launching this summer in London, this permanent space in Whiteley’s will serve as a useful intermediary between the ranges on the site and the customer, allowing people to try before they commit. And as My Wardrobe head of sales Sacha Newall said, ‘Nothing beats the experience of face-to-face service’.
