Finally we’re seeing some nice British weather and the festivals are coming at us from every angle. My current fashion favourite for Summer 2014 has got to be the endless choice of fabulous headpieces. From daisy chains to full flower headbands, tiaras, feathers and strings of pearls — whether you’re overly eccentric or prefer understated simplicity, there’s a way for you to bring some fun and joy to your outfit and locks.
On the catwalk, queen of punk Vivienne Westwood showed us how a flowery headpiece doesn’t have to be super girly. Some serious edge can be added with oversized blood-red roses and an ‘F you’ expression.

Meanwhile Dolce and Gabbana went royal, with a gold crown and gem headband adding an air of regal elegance to everyday summer dress.

When looking for festival inspiration, all the best-dressed celebrities hit California for Coachella, and while we may not be top of the guest list that doesn’t mean we can’t replicate an outfit or two. Kylie Jenner caught my eye this year, rocking a black flower and feather piece, making her blond dip-dye pop.
