The Genius of Ray Charles and Nina Simone, presented by the Jazz Repertory Company at Cadogan Hall on Saturday 9 May at 7.30pm, will celebrate two of the world’s greatest legends of jazz and soul, with a programme that includes many of the greatest hits of these musical giants. Ray Charles’ Georgia On My Mind, Hit The Road Jack, Hallelujah I Love Her So and many more will feature alongside Nina Simone’s timeless versions of My Baby Just Cares For Me and Feelin’ Good as well as other gems from her repertoire.
This superb double bill features acclaimed singer and musician Jeremy Sassoon with his awe-inspiring 17-piece orchestra, and wonderfully rich and expressive singer Liz Fletcher accompanied by her dramatic quartet, featuring the highly acclaimed guitarist Nigel Price.
