London

The London Eye is a popular attraction. This giant Ferris wheel is located on the River Thames and is 135 meters tall. The best has yet to come however, as the city is also building a new £111 million new arts centre dubbed The Factory. The city clearly has big plans for this space, and it is set to open in 2022.
Music is another huge part of this city’s identity. Many people venture here to see the birthplace of sensational bands like Oasis, The Smiths, and Joy Division. The scene here is thriving, and this is a usual stop off for major touring artists. There are also many great places to see a show, like the Manchester Arena, The Apollo, and the Manchester Academies. There is still a thriving indie scene as well. Leeds
Leeds is a unique city with a charm all its own. There is a little of everything, and visitors come here for its distinctive vibe. The restaurant scene here is particularly good, with a wide array of options from fine dining establishments to comfortable and cozy places to have a nice dinner.
The Michelin star worthy restaurant named The Man Behind The Curtain has received rave reviews since it opened in 2014. Here, chef Michael O’Hare has a reputation for unique flavors and artistic presentation. The Midnight Bell is a local favorite for their excellent Sunday roast. Around the city, there are many more incredible restaurants to explore.
Leeds has also built a bit of a reputation as a shopping heaven. Victoria Leeds and Trinity Leeds are local shopping centres with a lot to offer in the ways of clothes, fitness supplies, toys, gifts, and other services. There is also the independently run Corn Exchange and Kirkgate Market. These locations are filled with small quirky shops and lots of homemade goods.
