The Process:
As a typically nervous person, the thought of anyone approaching me with sharp objects and an intention of snipping away at my assets, makes me very, very wary. Needless to say, on meeting Gina any worries of manic Edward Scissorhand-style disasters were soon gone from my head.
We began with a comprehensive and detailed consultation, discussing everything from my favourite moment with my hair to my most disastrous ones – the latter forming the majority of our conversation. Gina understood the brief exactly and put me totally at ease. I was reassured and debriefed of the schedule of colour, cut, wash and blow-dry, with a manicure thrown in to complete the experience.
With such a friendly demeanour it was lovely to see Gina float between guests and stylists in the salon, with a genuine interest in their experience. It was lovely to watch her wave her magic on my hair as layers of foils were applied with ease and confidence.
The Result:
It’s incredible how a full head of highlights and immaculate cut and blow-dry can suddenly lift the senses and capture a new-found confidence that I hadn’t experienced following a haircut.
The bespoke service made me feel like the only guest in the salon and I was given a full sensory experience. Every moment was indulgent and I trusted Gina implicitly. The menu of spa treatments available would make a great addition to a shopping trip for girls or boys, as they cater very well for him with a whole array of treatments tailored to his needs.
Staff were incredibly attentive and polite, the ambience was spot-on and the aftercare advice was greatly appreciated. It was very refreshing to see someone with such flair and passion for their craft. I can’t wait to go back for maintenance appointments and couldn’t be happier with my hair.
