The Little Yellow Door Returns To Notting Hill

This spring, the ultimate house party will arrive in Notting Hill. Following on from its legendary sell out pop up just around the corner on Notting Hill Gate, The Little Yellow Door will open a new permanent home on the iconic All Saints Road, and the flatmates are ready and waiting to welcome you to one of London’s most eclectic, tongue-in-cheek bars and restaurants.

Based on a fictional flatshare between friends from all walks of life, those in the know can enjoy everything from savouring inventive cocktails in the corner, to dining on sublime fresh and seasonal dishes on the kitchen counter with friends, playing board games and even having a shimmy into the small hours.

Set over two floors, The Little Yellow Door will take its inspiration from their first ever flatshare, filled with colourful and quirky finds, mismatched furniture and even the original yellow door now on permanent display. Guests will enter a true home from home, enjoying the warm and welcoming open plan kitchen and living room, complete with a fireplace and sofas, the ideal spot for early evening for cocktails and dinner.

The experimental cocktail list, named after the flatmates’ extensive DVD collection will be displayed in the flatmates’ photos albums and feature some new additions alongside firm favourites such as; Coffee and Cigarettes, served with a surprise on the side, and Kill Bill, a heady mix of Earl Grey infused Bombay Sapphire Gin, Lemon Curd and Thyme. Sticking to traditions, regulars will receive personalised ‘mug-shot mugs’ and a secret key to guarantee entry to the flat.

Every night the culinary half of The Little Yellow Door will serve up a scintillating seasonal menu, with a competitive twist. The monthly changing menu will see two of the flatmates use their national cuisine to ‘cook off’ against each other, with one simple ongoing rule, the winner stays on for the following month. Diners will also be able to tuck into the home comforts bar menu including; Salt and Pepper Squid, served with Lettuce Wraps, Lime Leaf and Lemongrass Dipping Sauce, Woodfired Bavette Steak with Chimichurri and a Horseradish Cream or Shallot Sauce and Pork Belly and Peanut Bao Buns with House Pickles.

When it comes to weekends, The Little Yellow Door, open all day, will serve up Saturday bottomless brunches and Sunday roasts, plating up home comfort dishes in the kitchen and living room, offering the perfect set up for those recovering from the night before or recharging for the weekend ahead.

Downstairs guests will find a secret hideaway open till 2am, The Flatmate’s Den, kitted out with everything needed for a naughty night of fun. From backgammon and poker tables to retro games and the Flatmates’ music corner, complete with vinyl players, instruments and live DJs, this will truly be the ultimate space for parties and games night every night of the week.

As with The Little Blue Door in Fulham, guests will be able to make bookings via WhatsApp, a great opportunity for visitors to get to know the flatmates before arriving.
