The Harwood Arms Celebrates 10th Birthday With Exclusive Anniversary Dinner

London’s only Michelin-starred pub, The Harwood Arms, is celebrating its milestone 10-year anniversary with a special dinner on Monday 20th May that will see current Head Chef of The Harwood Arms, Sally Abé, team up with three former Head Chefs of the landmark pub to cook up an exceptional tasting menu.

To mark the special occasion, Sally and Co-Founders Brett Graham, Mike Robinson, and Edwin Vaux have invited back Steve Williams (2009-2012), Anthony Hill (2012-2014), and Alex Harper (2014-2017) to join them in designing one course each of a unique seven-course tasting menu that calls on The Harwood Arms’ rich history, its championing of British produce – particularly game and wild food – as well as honouring diners’ favourite dishes over the years.

The celebratory anniversary menu will feature dishes that represent The Harwood Arms over the last ten years, including a ‘Montgomery Cheddar & Onion Tart’, ‘Muntjac Wellington with Wild Garlic and Jersey Royals’, and ‘Elderflower Custard Slice with Strawberries & Buttermilk Sorbet’.

Already an established Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur when he opened The Harwood Arms in 2009, Co-Founder Brett Graham says, “Our vision was to go beyond the typical pub fare, particularly in this area of London. The foundation for opening The Harwood Arms was to ‘bring the countryside to London’. We had a great chef, Steve Williams, working with us at The Ledbury who really loved the idea of cooking in a pub, and a feeling that if we got menu right, and the wine list, it could be something truly remarkable. Now, with Sally’s creativity, her hands-on approach, and her unshakeable commitment, we’re so happy it’s still working 10 years on! I’m thrilled to be putting on this special event to celebrate The Harwood Arms’ amazing 10 years of success with the chefs that have made it happen.”

The anniversary dinner will be held on Monday 20th May. The menu is priced at £80 per person excluding drinks. Guests can also opt for a £45 wine pairing, specially selected by The Harwood’s Sommelier.

The tasting menu will be available in the restaurant for dinner Tuesday – Saturday evenings from May 20th until 1st June and is priced at £80 (excluding drinks).

Having sampled the new menu, West London Living can say with utmost confidence that it definitely won’t disappoint! The pub is idyllic – think timeless upmarket country watering hole meets haute-cuisine, all run by the friendliest, most passionate and genuine publican you could hope to meet. Locals while away hours at the bar with the paper and a dog, while others tuck into seven course tasting menus. Both regulars and gastronomes from far and wide flock to The Harwood Arms, hot on the scent of a reputation that both precedes itself and surpasses expectations. Surprisingly all at, comparatively speaking, very reasonable prices. Given the standard of chefs, location, and almost unfeasibly ethical manner in which animals and produce are sourced, it beggars belief that prices aren’t much, much higher.

If we had one tip, it’s to make sure you sample the incredible Muntjac Wellington with wild garlic, sprouting broccoli and Jersey Royals – probably the best thing I’ve eaten in several years. And, also, to schedule a visit before they realise they really ought to double their prices!

Tables for the celebratory anniversary dinner on 20th May or to sample the tasting menu until 1st June can be booked by telephone only: 020 7386 1847
