Leiths Christmas classes

Serve the Perfect Christmas with Leiths

There is so much to do around Christmas time that the thought of getting Christmas dinner on the table on time can be overwhelming. Luckily the chefs at the UK Cookery School of the Year, Leiths School of Food and Wine, are ready to show you ‘How to Cook — The Perfect Christmas Dinner’.

The friendly chefs at Leiths will teach you how to prepare for Christmas Day ahead of time so that you have time to relax on the day. Perfect your roast goose and turkey and all the trimmings as we show you how to cook a succulent bird, get ahead with the vegetables and garnishes and ensure everything is on the table at the same time, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the festivities with friends and family. And to top it all, you will also make a moist and boozy Christmas pudding to be taken home. Christmas made easy!

For the perfect end to your meal, delight friends and family by presenting a cheese board full of delectable cheeses created with your own hands. Louise Talbot of Cutting the Curd will explore the history of cheese with you as she teaches you the various stages of cheese making. Learn to produce a range of soft cheeses such as Danish Blue, Mozzarella and New Zealand’s iconic drinks party nibble Kiwi Cheeseball, using raw farm or supermarket milk and vegetarian rennet.

What’s more, you will also learn to make parmesan crisps, Baileys Irish Cream and your own brandy butter. With all recipes being easy to recreate at home, you’ll soon to making your own artisan cheeses with confidence.

A Leiths cooking course makes the perfect Christmas gift, with vouchers available for specific courses or as an open voucher of any value.
