The Monte-Carlo Car Rally, 22nd–28th January 2018
The Monte-Carlo Rally is one of the biggest events of the World Rally Championships (WRC) and starts the Monegasque calendar with high-octane, adrenaline-inducing action. It traditionally begins on a Thursday evening outside Monaco’s famous casino and ends with a post-rally podium ceremony in front of the palace on Sunday. It includes two passes over the steep and narrow curving road of the notoriously icy and demanding Col de Turini mountain pass on the final day.
The Rolex Monte Carlo Masters, 14th–22nd April 2018
The Rolex Monte Carlo Masters is one of the nine major tennis tournaments in the world. The open-air tournament takes place at the legendary Monte-Carlo Country Club, which is famous for its stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. This year, top players Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal (last year’s champion) will return to battle it out with other top-ranking competitors.
The Cannes Film Festival, 8th–19th May 2018
Hollywood turns its attention to the South of France for almost two weeks each spring, as the glittering lights of Europe’s chicest destination dazzle once more. All the film industry’s big-name movers and shakers descend upon the iconic city of Cannes for a packed programme of prestigious screenings, premieres, and award ceremonies.

The Nice Jazz Festival, 17th–21st July 2018
The Nice Jazz Festival is one of the most prestigious and popular open-air music festivals in Europe. An eclectic mix of traditional and modern jazz and funk is played across the Place Massena. Over the years it has attracted internationally renowned artists like Mary J. Blige, Ray Charles, and Herbie Hancock.
The Monaco Yacht Show, 26th–29th September 2018
The Monaco Yacht Show is one of the highlights of the international yachting calendar and—even if you’re not a seafarer—offers a breathtaking spectacle. More than 125 yachts from the world’s most prestigious shipyards line the docks in the Principality’s Port Hercules. The huge in-water exhibition includes the display of superyachts over 100m in length. Visitors can also enjoy an exhibition of more than 15 prestige cars and two helicopters at Quai Antoine 1er and Parvis Piscine, in addition to numerous soirees and exclusive social gatherings.

Les Voiles de St Tropez, 29th September–7th October 2018
The Gulf of St Tropez welcomes the Voiles de St Tropez for its 20th edition in 2018. The classic regatta has become an institution among yachting enthusiasts; around 300 seafarers compete for the coveted Rolex Trophy in the light-hearted competition. Spectators can take a boat out for closer viewing or socialise and enjoy exhibition stalls, parties, and musical entertainment with friends and family back on dry land.
