Es Saadi Marrakech Resort Palace

In 1952 Casino Marrakech was founded and after two years Jean Bauchet has placed a cornerstone of the place with the name of Casino Hotel, later the venue was renamed as Es Saadi. The hotel looks like it was suspended in time, and this idyllic place conveyed authentic emotions to visiting travellers. The resort has quickly become a haven, an oasis for people and travellers.

About Es Saadi Marrakech

The Es Saadi Resort can be found in the residential Hivernage neighbourhood, which overlooks the Atlas Mountains. The resort is just a few steps from the walls of the old city and the Menara gardens, and there is a short 10 minutes drive from the airport. The neighbourhood is peaceful, where visitors can forget about crowded, tiny streets of the Medina.

The Hivernage neighbourhood has wide avenues with lined palms and olive trees that are graced with luxury hotels and terraces. The most famous avenue in Hivernage is the Mohammed VI, modelled after the famous Parisian Champs-Elysees. The avenue is home to the Royal Theatre, the Palais de Congres conference centre and the Multiplex cinema. Also, the neighbourhood is quiet during the day and during the night the area becomes full of life with some of Marrakech’s trendiest nightlife hotspots.

The Es Saadi Hotel looks like is part of a legend, where you can imagine a young Mick Jagger posing by the pool, or see a dancing show done by Josephine Baker. Josephine is one of the artists that had the start of their career at the old Casino Theatre. Today, the theatre is called Theatro, which is Morocco’s most exclusive discotheque. For restorative breaks, the discotheque welcomed artists such as Jacques Brel and The Rolling Stones. Besides, Es Saadi’s legend is kept alive by the walls and furnishings that have the feel of the 50s.
