During September’s London Fashion Week, contemporary fashion brand Ethologie brought us the dazzling Spring/Summer 2016 collection When Time Stands Still. The collection takes you on a journey that captures the beauty of Morocco, vividly reflected in the ornate patterning, delicate embroidery and textured embellishments of the fabrics.
A blend of elegant party dresses and holiday chic made from hand-twisted chiffons and hand-embroidered French lace oozed glamour and craftsmanship. The intricate patterns, inspired by Moroccan architecture, were put together playfully with reflective studs and jewels, oversized neckpieces and statement sunglasses. Rich jewel tones were complemented by bright feathers and a splash of metallic.
With the New Year rolling in I think it’s time to start planning your 2016 escape to the sun… Morocco anyone?
