Saturday 5 November saw a host of The Ivy Chelsea Garden’s regulars, local residents, influencers and VIP guests gather together to celebrate one of Britain’s best traditions—Guy Fawkes—alongside the launch of the Winter Garden with an evening of family-oriented activities. Apple bobbing, face painting and theatre performances were enjoyed alongside a series of foodie delights.
Sumptuous cocktails, mulled wine, a roasted chestnut cart, and an impressive outdoor BBQ (serving traditional hot dogs and pulled pork burgers) preceded the unbeatable desserts, including mixed sweets and candy floss.
Hosted in the restaurant’s beautiful orangery and gardens, the party was set against a backdrop of autumnal flowers, twinkling fairy lights, fire lanterns, candles, cosy rugs and a fire pit. The culmination of the evening’s celebrations included dancers, fire eaters, and fireworks display, ensuring the Bonfire Night theme was maintained.
