Tuesday saw a host of Londoners, influencers and VIPs, including Professor Green, Donna Air , Oliver Proudlock, Meredith Ostrum and actress Samantha Barks gather together to celebrate the launch of the new social app VieLoco.
Hosted at Loulou’s, 5 Hertford Street, guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails, canapés and entertainment, as well as an exciting competition to win a series of luxury gifts and experiences including a Nobu Sushi master class for two, a private V&A Museum tour with dinner for two at Hibiscus, shooting for two at Holland & Holland, a gorgeous Jimmy Choo bag and spa day, to name but a few.
Les Miserables actress Samantha Barks was seen catching up with Donna Air before winning a prize. Recently single Professor Green was also in attendance for VieLoco—the social app for those looking for either friendship or romance.
VieLoco allows users to find love and friendship through a shared sense of adventure and passions. Literally translated as ‘Crazy Life’, VieLoco is a far cry from pre-existing matchmaking apps, pairing users romantically or platonically. Users can select from hundreds of ‘passions’ ranging from artistic interests, favourite destinations, cultural pastimes, sporting preferences, social habits and languages, amongst many others.
The app helps to build genuine relationships through the use of its other key functions: detailed searches by passions, location and preferences, live video streaming, virtual gifting and the recently launched real gifting function, with users now able to treat friends or loved ones with gifts ranging from a wine tasting to a balloon trip into space.
