Regents Park Aesthetics’ ethos is that a customer’s needs are of upmost importance. You would hope that would be the case everywhere, but it is difficult to trust your face in the hands of someone you do not know. We all hear so many horror stories about botched jobs and unfortunate side effects, so it really is great to find someone who you want to recommend so much.
The process
Kay took me through to her new clinic based on Wimpole Street, which she moved into recently—it is a small but cosy treatment room, which feels warm and less medical than others do.
We sat and discussed the things I felt could be improved; Kay was very informative and talked me through the profile of my face and what she felt needed to be done or not done. We spoke through my jaw line being more contoured, she recommended we put some filler in my chin, top lip and in the corners of my law to lift the face and give me a better ratio and more balanced profile.
Local anaesthetic was applied to the areas we were targeting and Kay talked through the process while my face numbed. She was amazing during the procedure, telling me what she was doing the whole time, whether that was when she was injecting, when the filler was going in and needle coming out. She also told me the type of pain I would feel too so nothing came as a surprise, which is something I really appreciated. I have had treatments before where there was no guidance and I wasn’t sure when the treatment was going to be finishing, which made me feel uneasy and anxious, but Kay was refreshing and had me at ease the entire time.
The result
I was going out that evening and although I had a small bruise on my face, I was able to do my make-up and head straight out without any down time. The subtle changes Kay made to my face have given me a new confidence and I am so much happier with my jaw and lips.
